There is a protrusion on the "C" barrels that enter this notch. Don't count Kahr out, at some point they'll catch up with orders and start putting out CW380 models, which MSRP for right around $400. The top round sits tilted up high, and feeding the first round is a problem on my CW9 at times. by itself, but Id probably rather have a K9 Elite 98 with nights and call it good. If CCW is a priority, and concealment a high priority, the Kahr probably makes more sense.
