After a long sit I had a knock develop and been tracking it down. It does not clunk going from park to to reverse, only from drive to reverse. There was no history known on it but when they installed a 540 in front of it the noise it made got progressively worse. I can actually put it in park and push it. Reverse manual, no brake. Appears to have engine braking in all gears.
